As the roof of the company’s building was already in use for other installations, deploying standard equipment would have been relatively difficult and less efficient. As a result, Eternia Solar proposed using SolarEdge optimized equipment, which ensures higher efficiency of the solar power plant. Unlike a traditional system, the individual performance of each module does not affect the performance of the other modules in the optimized PV system. This solution helps maximize the efficiency of the power plant in case of possible shading or other obstructions. Also, it ensures higher levels of safety as the overall voltage is lower, and the system automatically shuts down when a fault is detected.
