Constructing a solar power plant on a vaulted roof is a complicated, expensive, and a technologically demanding project. Eternia Solar managed to gather experts in different solar construction areas and found an optimal way to build a PV system on a vaulted roof for LLC Stronglasas. The roof were the solar power plant was built was not suitable for heavy constructions, therefore, the minimum amount of ballast required was used. It also impacted the mounting system – „east-west“ construction was chosen due to a lower need for ballast, compared to traditional construction. This power plant is the first technological project of this kind in Lithuania.
